Scuba Publications does not sell its products directly to the consumer. Bookstores, dive stores, resorts, instructors and Course Directors can qualify to stock and sell our products. The procedures for acceptance and the conditions are not the same for all groups.

Bookstores, dive stores and resorts do not have to fulfill any requirements to stock and sell our products. It is enough to inform us of the company identity including the legally required identification numbers (such as VAT number). Once the company identity is verified, an access number for the retail log-in is assigned and the store can place orders on-line. Dive stores and resorts that have a Course Director on staff (qualified for the respective courses) can qualify to be advertised as a Training Facility, meaning they provide Specialty Instructor Training courses with Scuba Publications materials

Independent Course Directors are handled in the same manner as instructors, with the exception that they automatically qualify as an Instructor Trainer when they qualify as an instructor for the use of Scuba Publications materials. Course Directors can offer the needed training to instructors who do not have previous qualifications at the level required to get access to Scuba Publications training products. For this purpose, Course Directors have access to instructor kits at favorable conditions. Interested Course Directors have to complete an information form to allow Scuba Publications to verify credentials for the program the Course Director wants to teach using Scuba Publications materials. Both instructors and Course Directors qualify for one program at a time - we need a separate information form for each course.

Instructor / Course Director application

Independent Instructors can qualify to order course materials for the courses they are allowed to teach. Instructors have to complete an information form indicating which course they want to teach with Scuba Publications materials and what qualifications they have with respect to the subject of the course. Scuba Publications is not a training agency. The instructor will have to be authorized to conduct courses in the desired specialty and to certify the participants via that agency. The content of the Scuba Publications instructor guides exceed the minimum requirements of the major training organizations, so the use of the outline means that you cover the content required for certification. The first order from an instructor has to include an instructor kit for the respective course, to make sure that the instructor has all the needed materials to assure high quality training. Instructors who do not have the required qualifications to teach a certain course have the option to attend the respective Instructor Training Course with a qualified Course Director. Instructors qualify for one program at a time - we need a separate information form for each course.
