Your First Digital Underwater Pictures

Jan Oldenhuizing

Your First Digital Underwater Pictures was written for people who use a compact digital camera in an underwater housing. The book avoids the sometimes complex terminology and "slang" for photography in general and specifically underwater photography. The book simply tells how to set the buttons on your camera and what to do when the pictures don"t turn out the way you imagined them to be.
The book starts with an explanation on the features you want to look for when buying a digital camera for use underwater, then how to prepare it for use and how to avoid condensation. In the technical session there is a chapter on what you can do without an external strobe and thenan a next chapter "Expanding Beyond the Limits" that shows what you can do with an external strobe.
The book is then completed with a chapter on custom white balancing and a question and answer section that will give answers that help to solve problems when pictures turn out different than they were intended.
